The mission of Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County is “Volunteers helping to maintain the independence of older adults in Washington County.”

Who We Are

Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) network of volunteers who provide assistance to help maintain the independence of older adults. Our assistance includes long term on-going help as well as temporary assistance for individuals that may need help after an accident or surgery.

Services Offered by Interfaith

The following services are offered to older adults 60+ at no cost to the individual.

    • Healthcare appointments
    • Shopping
  • Shopping  (for homebound individuals)
  • Friendly Visits
  • Telephone Reassurance
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Meal Preparation
  • Minor Yard Maintenance
    • Yard clean-up
    • Lawn mowing
    • Snow Shoveling
    • Raking
  • Minor Home Repair
    • Changing light bulbs
    • Small painting jobs
    • Small repairs in the home or outside

Who Can Use Interfaith?

Anyone living in Washington County needing assistance 60 years of age or better.

What Days and Times are Assistance Offered?

Interfaith provides assistance throughout the day, early evening and weekends.  Assistance is dependent on the availability of our volunteers.  A week notice before needing assistance is encouraged.
