The mission of Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County is “Connecting older adults with caring volunteers who want to lend a helping hand.”

Who We Are

Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County is a non-profit 501(c)(3) network of volunteers who provide assistance to help maintain the independence of older adults. Our assistance includes long term on-going help as well as temporary assistance for individuals that may need help after an accident or surgery.

Services Offered by Interfaith

The following services are offered to older adults 60+ at no cost to the individual.

  • Transportation (including wheelchair transportation)
    • Healthcare appointments
      • within Washington County
      • out-of-county
    • Grocery shopping
    • A week notice prior to appointments is requested.
